  • How long has La Jolla Star Transportation been in business?

    La Jolla Star Transportation has been in business since 2002. We are proud to have provided excellent executive business transportation in San Diego, CA, Houston, Dallas, and Austin, TX since the start of our business.

  • Do you provide services outside of San Diego?

    Yes! We provide corporate transportation in San Diego California, Houston, Dallas, and Austin Texas as well as across the border. We also service all major public and private airports and we provide nationwide service to most larger cities in the United States.

  • Are your vehicles clean, safe, well maintained and reliable?

    Our fleet undergoes scheduled maintenance and routine inspections, with all vehicles being less than 2 years old. Furthermore, we implement regular cleaning and disinfection protocols for all our vehicles.   • What is your cancellation policy?

    For Sedans and SUVs, cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up in order not to incur a fee.

    For Sprinters, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up in order not to incur a fee.

    For Buses, cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the scheduled pick-up in order not to incur a fee. If you need to cancel your executive transportation in San Diego, CA, Houston, Dallas, and Austin, TX, make sure to contact us as soon as possible to ensure you don't incur any fees.

  • How can I make a reservation?

    There are several options for making a reservation. First, you can go to the Reservation tab on our website and book online.   • Can I add a stop to my reservation and are there additional fees?

    Yes! You may add as many stops as you would like. 

    The charge for a stop within a 5-mile radius away from your route is as follows:

    For sedans, each additional stop is charged $15.

    For SUVs, each additional stop is charged $20.

    For Sprinters, each additional stop is charged $25.

  • What is your hourly service and what does it include?

    Our hourly service includes having a chauffeur and a vehicle at your disposal for a certain amount of time. Our minimum hourly service includes a 3 hour minimum for sedans and SUVs and a 4 hour minimum for Sprinters and Buses. During this time, you are able to make as many stops as you would like, and you can have the chauffeur wait at any location for as long as you need. Hourly charges are calculated from garage to garage. This means that the hour starts from the moment the chauffeur leaves our garage and ends when the chauffeur finishes and arrives at the garage.   • How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

    To ensure that we can provide adequate and on-time service to you, please book your transportation service at least 24 hours in advance.

    We are able to take last-minute requests for our vehicles including our corporate event limos in San Diego, CA, Houston, Dallas, and Austin, TX. For last-minute service please call our dispatch at (858) 454-8000.

  • What are your service hours?

  • What happens if my flight is delayed?

    Our dispatchers track all of the incoming flights and are aware of flight delays and/or cancellations. Since we track the flights, our driver will arrive on time, every time.

    In case of flight cancellations, we would suggest that you contact our office to make sure we are aware that you are not arriving on that flight. Once you have new flight information, please let our dispatch know. The same rule applies to flights that you might have missed.
